The Twelve Point is an intermediate form between the second and third stellations. In The Puzzling World Of Polyhedral Dissections, Stewart called this puzzle Augmented Second Stellation. It is made by augmenting the ends of a second stellation puzzle with rhombic pyramid blocks. He later made another puzzle by augmenting a second stellation, called it Augmented Second Stellation and created a bit of confusion. Stewart made 52 from 1981 to 1996. Number 33 in his numbering system.
