Spider Slider has six identical symmetrical pieces. It is assembled by constructing two halves and sliding them together. The pieces are made up from split triangular sticks, with each puzzle piece having four sticks joined at the square dimples. An easy puzzle, but it set the stage for some wonderful descendants like Scorpius and Scrambled Scorpius. Stewart made about 20 in 1970. Number 5 in his numbering system.
