$100 Bill

12.5 × 5.25 inches - 156 hand-cut pieces from 0.25 inch plywood

One of the smaller puzzles offered by MGC Puzzles (Mark Cappitella). It bought it primarily to see if I like the quality of his hand cut jigsaws because I want to have a custom hand-cut puzzle made. Most of what he offers on Etsy does not appeal to me, so I gave the $100 Bill a try. It is an excellent jigsaw. His jigsaws are cut when ordered and I specified no whimsies/figures and difficult.

The lack of color and very clever cuts make this more difficult than I would have thought. It took me 2 1/2 hours for this little jigsaw! Not remembering what a 1996 $100 bill looks like did not help. I'm not sure a current one would have mattered. Most people can't come close to drawing any U.S. currency. Try to draw a $1 bill. You've seen enough of them, right?

The quality is outstanding. The blade he uses in his scroll saw is 0.007 inches. This video of him cutting a butterfly jigsaw is amazing!
