This puzzle and the Forty-Four Piece Packing Puzzle are in the same family. All twenty-five of the pieces are identical. In Martin Gardner's Mathematical Games column in Scientific American he identifies it as having been found by Singmaster as the smallest example of this type of packing puzzle. There are twenty-two solutions.
