Announcing the 2010 Competition

The Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition was established in 2001 to promote and recognize innovative new designs of mechanical puzzles. The tenth annual competition begins this year, with judging and awards at IPP30 (July 2010). See the full details using the following links.

2009 Competition Results

• The Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition was established in 2001 to promote and recognize innovative new designs of mechanical puzzles. A record 80 puzzles were entered. The 2009 Competition Entries page includes details about all entries, include designer, manufacture, and purchase information where available.
• Judging at IPP29 in San Francisco, USA, August 6-9, 2009. The Puzzlers' Award selected by IPP attendees; all other prizes selected by Judging Committee. Click on images below for more information.
